Nature has the potential of creating a compositional landscape appealing to an audience through the variety of floral arrays and trees filled with texture and movement. This phenomenon connects my creativity and identity as I use it’s medium to create pieces that speak of the garden that started it all, Eden. I create through the perspective of an artist who sees not what it is but what it can become. By using landscapes dead debris, I reconstruct each piece, add color and texture, each object is placed strategically, and the end product voices out the gospel.

My artistic instruments are palm tree leaves, seeds, branches, tree trunks, corn leaves, and many organic materials that focus on texture and form. By connecting each object to other forms, I depict one main visual subject, the Passionate Flower. This flower who holds around 500 species reviles the passionate gospel story through its petals, stigma, anthers, filaments, and coronas. As an image maker I created and recreated the passionate flower garden in various forms and shapes yet in the end, everything created correlates to the context of passion both flower and emotion.  

The focus of my work is to connect the viewer to a natural environment in which their senses are stimulated through a visual creativity in which their body can touch the piece and observe the environment. My subject matter is the essence of connecting the human being with nature by gathering debris and dressing it as if it was alive. As an image maker I want the audience to step into a garden of passion and find the symbolism hidden that connects them to its image maker.
